Refund Policy — Goldfields Wellness Retreat

1. Purpose
At Goldfields Wellness Retreat, we understand that plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities regarding bookings, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind or circumstances beyond our control. However, we may, at our discretion, offer a credit or allow rescheduling if notified within the timeframes below.
3. Cancellation Policy
Retreat Bookings
  • More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund (less any transaction fees).
  • 15–30 days before arrival: 50% refund or full credit toward a future retreat.
  • Less than 14 days before arrival: No refund, unless required by law.
Wellness Treatments or Consultations
  • Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows: The full session fee may be charged.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to illness, injury, or compassionate reasons, please contact us as soon as possible.
Refunds or credits in such cases may be considered at our discretion with supporting documentation.
5. Retreat Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that Goldfields Wellness Retreat must cancel a retreat or event (e.g. due to insufficient bookings, health orders, or natural disasters), you will receive:
  • A full refund, or
  • The option to transfer your booking to a future date.
We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs outside of the retreat package.
6. Consumer Guarantees
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if a service:
  • Is not delivered with due care and skill,
  • Is unfit for the intended purpose, or
  • Does not match its description.
These rights cannot be excluded by this policy.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
