Welcome to Goldfields Wellness Retreat. By booking or participating in any of our services, classes, or events, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking or attending any session.

1. General Information

Goldfields Wellness Retreat (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides wellness, yoga, life coaching, sound therapy, massage and remedial massage services in Australia. These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients (“you”, “your”) engaging in our services, whether in person or online.

2. Bookings and Payments

All appointments and classes must be booked in advance through our booking system or directly with staff.
Full payment or a deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected.
Package and membership purchases are non-transferable and must be used within the validity period stated at purchase.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment or class start time will not incur a fee.
Cancellations made within 24 hours or failure to attend may result in a full fee charge or forfeiture of a session from your package.
If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time or full refund.

4. Health and Medical Disclosure

You must inform your therapist or instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, allergies, or other relevant health concerns before your session or class.
Our services are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. Please consult a qualified health professional before beginning any new exercise or treatment program.
You participate in all services and classes at your own risk.

5. Liability Waiver

By attending sessions, you acknowledge and agree that:

Goldfields Wellness Retreat and its practitioners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
You accept full responsibility for your physical and emotional well-being during all sessions and classes.
You release and indemnify Goldfields Wellness Retreat and its staff from any claims or actions resulting from participation in our services.

6. Gift Vouchers and Packages

Gift vouchers and prepaid packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
They are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.
Expired vouchers cannot be extended.

7. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during bookings or consultations is used solely to manage appointments, provide services, and communicate with you.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

8. Online and Virtual Services

If you participate in online yoga classes or consultations, ensure you have a safe, stable environment and internet connection.
We are not responsible for technical issues or injuries arising from your environment or equipment.
Online sessions may not be recorded, reproduced, or shared without our written permission.

9. Conduct and Respect

We maintain a welcoming and respectful environment for all clients and staff.
Any abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in refusal of service or termination of membership without refund.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website or upon request.

3. Consent to Treatment and Participation

I understand that:

The wellness, yoga, and remedial massage services offered by Goldfields Wellness Retreat are intended to promote relaxation, well-being, and balance.
These services are not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
Practitioners do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medical treatment.
It is my responsibility to consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns before participating in sessions.

4. Acknowledgment of Risk

I acknowledge that:

Participation in yoga, wellness activities, and massage therapy involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical strain, muscle soreness, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions.
I voluntarily choose to participate, fully accepting these risks.
I will immediately inform my practitioner or instructor if I experience discomfort, pain, or dizziness during a session.

5. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Goldfields Wellness Retreat, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising from my participation in any activity, class, or treatment provided by the business.

I understand that Goldfields Wellness Retreat carries out all services in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and relevant professional standards.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

All personal and health information I provide is kept confidential and stored securely in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
My information will only be used to manage appointments, deliver services, and contact me about future sessions or updates, unless otherwise required by law.

7. Agreement and Signature

By signing below, I confirm that:

I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms and Conditions and this Client Consent & Liability Waiver.
I have disclosed all relevant health information to the best of my knowledge.
I give my informed consent to receive wellness, yoga, and/or remedial massage services at Goldfields Wellness Retreat.
